Oxford City’s Ella Turner won silver in the under 15 300m, setting an indoor personal best of 42.66secs at Lee Valley in the South of England Under 15/17 Championships.
It took an outstanding performance to deny Turner the gold, with Brighton’s Amber Anning improving the British U15 record by nearly a second.
However, the performance of the City member means she is now ranked third in the UK.
She followed this up with an excellent pb of 27.02 in the 200m, again making the final.
