DIDCOT Town’s winless run in Division 1 South & West of the Evo-Stik Southern League was extended to three matches after a late strike denied them victory at home to Shortwood United last night.
Josh Klein-Davis headed home with four minutes left to earn the visitors a 2-2 draw and frustrate the hosts.
Didcot took the lead when a Sam Elkins shot slipped under Shortwood keeper Tom King.
The visitors equalised on the half-hour mark when Ross Langworthy tapped home from close range.
Didcot dominated the second half and a fine solo effort from Pablo Haysham gave them the lead.
But with the hosts unable to finish the game off, Klein-Davis made the Railwaymen pay with his late strike.
