AN extra-time goal from Ben Johnson gave Yarnton a shock 4-3 victory at Premier Division Riverside in the quarter-final of the Ben Turner Cup.
An earlier strike from Johnson and goals from Andy White and Luke Brennan had been cancelled out by Altin Duka, Charlie Brough and a late Tommy Hayday leveller for the hosts.
But Johnson’s effort in extra-time sent the Division 1 side through against the odds.
Charlton United eased through with a comfortable 4-0 home win over North Oxford, thanks to an Anthony Davidson brace and goals from Chris Hamilton and Matty Hillsdon.

Premier Division leaders Mansfield Road roared into the semi-finals of the President’s Cup with an emphatic 6-2 home win over Chalgrove.
The hosts took control early on with three goals in 15 minutes from Daniel Parker, James Watkins and Luis McGillycuddy.
Simon Godfrey pulled one back from the penalty spot just before half-time, but further goals from Parker and McGillycuddy, plus a Cameron Knight strike put the result beyond doubt.
Godfrey grabbed a second for Chalgrove shortly before the end, but it was scant consolation.
Horspath’s run was ended at the quarter-final stage by Oakley United as they crashed to a 5-2 defeat.
Shayne Almond scored four times for the hosts and Tom Gant also netted, with James Luckett and Jay Hill goals not enough for Horspath.
In the league programme, Broughton & North Newington held off a determined fight-back from rock bottom Bletchingdon to claim a 2-1 home win.
First-half goals from Steve Crognale and Damien Goudy put the hosts in charge and although John Webb pulled one back for Bletchingdon after the break they were unable to find an equaliser.
Kidlington Old Boys moved up to second in Division 1 with a 2-1 victory at Marston Saints, courtesy of a first-half double from Daniel Jones.
Ryan Smith halved the deficit after the break, but Old Boys held on for the win.
In Division 2, Tom Gerken and Steve Carvey both notched braces as Freeland Res comfortably beat Oakley United Res 6-2 at home.
Tom Weedon and Tom Hall also netted for the hosts, with Oli Stringer and Lawrence Foster on the mark for Oakley.
Adderbury Park Res crushed Yarnton Res 7-1 away from home.
Lee Timms netted twice alongside goals from Luke Winkworth, Lewis Baker, Joe Marron, Chris Heritage and Daniel Butler, with Thomas Malloy pulling one back late on for the home side.
