Oxford City Stars hope former favourite Alan Green can fire them to victory when they entertain fellow English National League South Division 1 strugglers London Raiders tomorrow (6.15).
Green, who left in the summer to play for Slough Jets in Division 2, is back as part of a two-way loan deal which allows players from different divisions to play up to three times for another team.
A big crowd is expected for the annual Oxfordshire United match. Tickets are half price for Oxford United season ticket holders and fans with a ticket stub from last weekend’s Cheltenham game.
Stars will play in a special yellow and blue kit to celebrate the link with their football colleagues. Apart long-term injuries, it will be the first time in nearly two months they will ice a full bench for the crunch game.
