SEASON ticket holders are being offered half price entry to Oxford City Stars’ clash this weekend as part of the second Oxfordshire United game.

The initiative was set up last season to deepen the links between Oxford United’s Yellow Army and the city’s ice hockey club.

Stars will wear a one-off yellow and blue kit for Sunday’s NIHL Division 1 clash with London Raiders at Oxpens (6.15).

Like last season’s event, several U’s players are expected to attend.

Darren Elliot, Stars’ head coach and an Oxford United fan, said: “Sunday’s game is a great chance to celebrate the links between our clubs and fans.”

Admission will be £4 for adults and £2 concessions, with the offer also open to U’s supporters with a ticket stub from last weekend’s game against Cheltenham Town.
