Hailey steamed up to second in the Witney & District FA Premier Division with a 2-1 home win over Minster Lovell.

Shaun Rayfield and Jason Blackman fired the hosts to victory, with Nathan Harris replying for Minster.

Jamie Kennedy’s strike lifted Witney Royals clear of the drop zone as they beat visitors Brize Norton 1-0.

The top two in Division 1 started 2015 in barnstorming fashion as both hit double figures in their respective matches.

Leaders Bourton Rovers thrashed hosts Eynsham SSC 10-0, with Connor Teague picking up five goals, Adam Webley netting a hat-trick and further goals for Dan Smith and Sam Mattock.

Second-placed Spartan Rangers went one better as they hammered hapless FC Hollybush 11-0 at home.

Matt Howard and Donovan Henderson-Sowerby each notched a treble, with the other goals shared among Frank Clarke, Pete Jenkins, Jamie Timms, Luke Petifer and Harry Thompson.

Stonesfield increased their lead at the top of Division 2 to nine points with a 4-0 home romp over Witney Wanderers.

Paul Penney led the scoring with a treble, Matt Tarry also netting.
