Oxford United are hopeful Joe Riley will be fit to face Cheltenham Town today.

The full back missed the 2-1 win at Plymouth Argyle with a tight hamstring, but returned to training this week.

It could be Riley’s final game for the U’s, with the 23-year-old due to make a decision on Monday about agreeing a new loan from Bolton Wanderers until the end of the season.

Jon Meades, who suffered concussion during the 2-0 defeat to Shrewsbury Town on Boxing Day, may be fit enough to make the squad.

Cheltenham yesterday signed young Liverpool trio Kevin Stewart, Jack Dunn and Lloyd Jones, all of whom may feature.

But centre backs Steve Elliott (knee) and Matt Taylor (hamstring) are out, along with former U’s midfielder Asa Hall (Achilles).
