SWIMMING: Super Oxford City confirmed national finalists
City of Oxford SC have been confirmed as one of the country’s top-ten clubs by sealing a place in the finals of the National Arena League.
They achieved their highest placing of third in the South Region Premier Division League, but have only just had their qualification into the national finals ratified.
An appeal from a club in the London League was dismissed, meaning City will take their place at the finals weekend in Cardiff at the end of April.
They will compete against the best clubs in the country, Cardiff, Liverpool, Swansea, Sheffield, Northampton, Preston, Boldmere, Ealing, and Thanet – in the final.
