LLOYD Thomas deserved high fives all round after he scored all Gosford’s goals in a 5-3 win at Alcester Grammar in the ESFA Under 15 PlayStation Small Schools’ Cup.
Thomas bagged a well-taken double to put the visitors 2-0 up at half-time in the second round tie in Warwickshire.
Another brace after the break appeared to have wrapped the game up, but Alcester hit back to make it 4-3.
It took Thomas’s fifth goal to make the game safe and send Gosford through.
