Wheatley Youth overcame a two-goal deficit to beat Thame United Churches 3-2 in the John Fathers Junior Shield first round.
The situation looked dire for the Oxford City FA side at half-time as they trailed to goals from Andy Lacey and Matt Stanbury.
But they rallied after the break and levelled thanks to Chris Kent and Martin Shaw efforts, before Josh Zawilinski threw himself in front of a goalline clearance to score a scrappy winner.
Benson Lions romped to a 7-0 home victory over Aylesbury & District League side Great Milton.
