Graham Edney scored twice as Abingdon United put last week’s FA Cup exit against Dorchester behind them by beating hosts Wootton Bassett 3-2 after extra time in Saturday’s FA Vase second qualifying round tie.
Dan Bailey put Bassett ahead in the 27th minute, but five minutes later Edney equalised with a penalty, awarded for handball.
There were no more goals in the first 90 minutes.
Andrew Younie put Abingdon ahead in extra time. James Skinner levelled for the home side, before Edney grabbed the winner.

Chinnor beat Henley Town 6-2. Matt Tallyn and John McMahon each netted for the hosts with further goals from Jamie Essex and Ryan Daly.
Graham Sims scored both of Henley’s goals.
A brilliant hat-trick from Marcus Mealing helped Thame United win 4-0 away to New College Swindon. Dan West completed the scoring.
Carterton went down 3-2 at Brimscombe & Thrupp, whose strikes came from Ashley Caldwell (2), Sam Blackie, Jamie Walker and Eddie Gray.
Dan Bishop and Jordan Cormack netted for Carterton.
Hook Norton beat Tadley Calleva 1-0 with a goal from Sam Grant, but there was disappointment for Milton United, who lost 2-1 at Farnham Town, despite a goal from Sean Webb.
Oxford City Nomads were thumped 6-0 at Slimbridge.
