Eddie Pepperell needs an excellent round at Kingsbarns today if he is to make the cut.
The 23-year-old from Abingdon shot a level-par 72 – including 16 pars – at Carnoustie yesterday to stand on 145 after two rounds of the big-money tournament.
The Frilford Heath player is tied for 122nd place, a full 12 shots behind the leader Raphael Jaquelin, of France.
Those that make the three-round cut will play the final round at St Andrews tomorrow.
