Oxford City Stars head coach Darren Elliott has been cleared to play in tomorrow’s South Division 1 clash athome to Solent and Gosport Devils (6.15).
Elliott controversially received a match penalty for kicking in the defeat at London Raiders last Saturday – a match that saw him break the club’s record for all-time appearances.
The English Ice Hockey Association have confirmed he should receive a one-match ban for the offence, which he served in the home game against Streatham Redskins last Sunday.
Stars are still without skipper James Clarke as he recovers from a shoulder injury, but otherwise are at full strength. Solent are the only side currently below Oxford in the table having lost all four league games this season.
