JUSTIN Edinburgh thinks Oxford United’s form can swing on one good result, after experiencing a similar springboard with his Newport County side.
The Welsh club picked up just one point from their first four league games, but have not looked back since a 1-0 win at Portsmouth in August.
They are seven games unbeaten in Sky Bet League Two and thrashed AFC Wimbledon 4-1 last weekend.
Edinburgh is well aware the same could happen with the U’s and has warned County to be on their guard tomorrow.

He said: “I would say they are in a false position and we know how just one positive result can put a team on a good run.
“You’ve seen that with ourselves, how a good win or performance can be the catalyst towards further results to come.
“We certainly won’t go there underestimating them and we know if we are to leave with our unbeaten record intact then we will have to be at our best again.”
He added: “If anyone is rolling up there and thinking that we’re going there to collect three points they should think again because it is certainly going to be a tough encounter.”
