OXFORD University made it three wins from three this season with a 38-0 victory over Henley Hawks last night.
In the Dark Blues’ first match on home turf after a successful tour to Russia, a fast start set the platform for a comfortable success.
No 8 Fraser Heathcote drove over from close range for the opening try, fly half George Cullen adding the conversion.
Captain Zandy Macdonald then scored from a Nick Gardner pass, Cullen again on target with the extras.

The Dark Blues forwards were now hitting their stride and providing quality possession for the backs, who were looking incisive and sharp.
Oxford were awarded a penalty try when the Henley forwards collapsed a driving maul, Cullen slotting the straight-forward conversion.
The Blues were in no mood to take their foot off the gas and scored the try of the night when Ed Doe touched down, making it 26-0 at half-time.
The second period did not quite live up to the excitement of the first and became a bit disjointed as both teams made numerous replacements.
However, the Dark Blues did manage to add two more tries.
Sam Egerton shot down the blind-side to beat two defenders and touch down under the posts for the first, Cullen once again on target.
And flanker George Messum rounded things off, crossing in the corner for an unconverted try which completed a commanding display from Oxford, who next travel to Richmond next Tuesday (7.45).
