Vale of White Horse opened their ESFA Under 15 PlayStation Inter Association Trophy campaign with a 5-1 win over Cannock & District in the first round.
James Spruyt’s 20-yard drive set Vale on the way at Milton United, before Tom Morris’s low shot doubled their lead.
Lewis Wootton pulled a goal back early in the second half, but captain Tom Carter scored a penalty after Spruyt was fouled in the area.
Morris lobbed home his second, before Spruyt rounded the keeper for No 5.
Vale are now away to Southampton in round two on a date to be arranged.
Mid Oxfordshire lost 2-0 to Coventry at Marlborough School, Woodstock.
