Jade O’Dowda was Oxfordshire’s leading performer in the English Schools Combined Events Championships at Princess Royal Arena, Boston.
The Gosford Hill School pupil finished fifth in the junior girls’ pentathlon with a total of 3,014 points.
Maike Chapel (Cherwell) came 17th in the senior girls’ heptathlon with 3,709 points.
Tim Stephens (Magdalen College) pulled out of the intermediate boys’ octathlon after completing only three events.
