Banbury United have been handed a double boost ahead of their FA Cup second qualifying-round trip to Weston-super-Mare.
Oxford United have agreed to extend Josh Shama and Aidan Hawtin’s loan spells to the delight of boss Paul Davis.
He said: “They’ve been different class. I know Mickey Lewis (U’s assistant head coach) quite well.
“Oxford want them to get game-time because they only play for the development team on an ad hoc basis.”

Davis said his team were not going to the west country to make up the numbers.
He added: “They are in Conference South, so they are going to be a good side.
“With our young players we can’t go and park the bus, we’ll be going there for a win.” Banbury’s only absentee is Joel Meade (foot injury).
