Banbury United boss Paul Davis says he does not expect to see Shepherd Murombedzi in the near future.
Last week, Murombedzi spent a week on trial at Sky Bet League Two side Mansfield Town.
And Davis feels he will land a professional deal any day soon.
“It’s good news for him because there’s the possibility that he’s going to get a contract.
“Unfortunately for us, I don’t think we’ll see him back,” said Davis.
“I’m delighted for him.”

Davis says there is more to come from their former Aldershot and Crawley striker Aaron Wickham ahead of tomorrow’s Premier Division home game against St Neots Town.
He scored the winner after coming on as substitute in their 1-0 FA Cup second qualifying round win at Bishops Cleeve.
Davis added: “He was recommended to me by a friend. He was coming back from injury.
“Aaron said he is only 40 per cent fit and if he plays like that then he’s going to be some player when he’s fully fit.”
Meanwhile, Davis is delighted with the way the players had reacted to the change of management.
“The first priority was to sort out the defence and we have done that,” he said. “We haven’t disrupted the team too much, but we have sorted out the structure and the shape.”
Banbury will be without Joel Meades (foot) and Nick Evangelinos (university).
Banbury Utd from Bedwell, Cray, Mzungwana, Fishwick, Westbrook, Howards, Hawtin, Shama, Walcott, Browne, Katsoloudi, Houston, Tappin, Ryan, Wickham.
