WITNEY'S game at home to Buckingham in South West 1 East tomorrow promises to be an emotional occasion following the sudden death of former captain Doug Richens.
Richens, 72, died on Monday while on holiday and a minute’s silence will be held in his memory before the match.
He had two spells as Witney captain, including when the club reformed, and had been a regular supporter since the end of his playing days.
His son, Alan, returns following last week’s 36-19 defeat at Newbury, but Gareth Campbell (shoulder) and Matt Calley (broken foot) are out.
