ABINGDON’S Alexis Canter continued his winning streak by capturing the ITF Grade 4 Junior title at Nicosia, Cyprus.
The 16-year-old is now unbeaten in 15 matches after defeating Derbyshire’s Jay Clarke 6-4, 6-2.
It saw him break into the top 200 of the ITF Under 18 world rankings for the first time.
Canter, who was crowned the national under 16 boys’ singles champion last month , was winning his second title in as many weeks in Cyprus after his success in the ITF Junior Grade 3 Aphrodite Cup.
