NATIONAL 3 SOUTH WEST
OXFORD Harlequins could not convert pressure into points as they slipped to a 30-15 defeat at Brixham.
Quins dominated for long periods, but a late try and denied them even a bonus point.
Brixham wing Ben Lovell and Quins fly half Zac Norris traded penalties, while centre Mike Lee almost scored for the visitors.
The hosts led 10-3 at half-time, thanks to a 31st-minute try from scrum half Andy Sandercock, converted by Lovell.
Quins levelled just after the break when No 8 Seisoni Tupou sent wing Ed Yeats over for a debut try, Norris converting.
Brixham replied with tries from Jonny Brown and Sam Thomas, Lovell converting the latter for 22-10.
Yeats scored his second from a 75-metre interception effort on 70 minutes.
But Brixham wrapped it up when full back Tom Goodman went over and Lovell added a penalty.
