OLLIE Wright’s try double helped Harwell win 34-5 at home to Berkshire Shire Hall.
Kev Wood and Wright scored first-half tries, with Mike Phillips converting the latter, but Shire Hall hit back with a try of their own.
Wright, Ben Granville, Rob Douglas and Phillips touched down in a more fluid second half, with the latter converting his own try.
Faringdon slipped to a 40-13 defeat at Aldermaston, who proved too strong.
The visitors took the lead with a Darren Clark penalty, but Aldermaston then held sway.
Clark added a second penalty and converted Graeme Endean’s sole try.
Didcot lost 36-15 at Risborough.
