ABINGDON’S Eddie Pepperell pocketed just over £70,000 after finishing fourth in the KLM Dutch Open in Zandvoort yesterday.
The Frilford Heath member shot a 66 on each of the final two days to take him a nice cheque – his biggest pay-day since finishing sixth in the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth in 2013.
Pepperell finished on 11 under par, three shots behind winner Paul Casey.
It moves him up to 66th in the prestigious Race to Dubai list, but his is still around £50,000 off the 60th – and final qualifying position.
