Oxford City & County’s Myra Lewis and Gail Gilkes were crowned Oxfordshire Ladies pairs champions after a tense shoot-out victory over Banbury Central’s Carole Galletly and Caroline Campion.
With the final finishing level at 17-17, it was a superb shot from Gilkes that won it in front of her home crowd.
The Banbury Central pair held the shot, but Gilkes fired the jack to the back of the rink and then drew the winning shot to claim the title.
Gilkes then teamed up with Donna Kni-ght and Katherine Hawes to record a 21-14 win over clubmates Sue Mayo, Myra Lewis and Jeanette Berry in the triples final.
City & County’s Katie Glenn beat Banbury Central’s Amy Stone 21-15 in the under 25s final.
