VIKINGS Sports Club pipped Didcot Conservative Club to the Oxford Summer League Group A title after winning the four points needed at home to Berinsfield.
They won the opening five games, skipper Bob Allsworth (5,490 and 6,430) leading the way with double victories over Craig Mace.
Mike Jones took both of his games with scores of 12,980 and 3,420.
Vikings’ Lewis Stratford scored 9,680 against Geoff Mace, who hit back with 10,350 in the last leg.
Bletchingdon Club became Group B champions after winning 4-2 at home in a title decider against previous leaders Marlborough Club B.
They took the title by a single point.
