DIDCOT shooter Dan Rivers has won a gold medal at Glasgow 2014 this afternoon.
The 23-year-old Wantage Target Shooting Club member clinched victory in the 50m rifle three positions competition at Carnoustie.
Rivers shot a Commonwealth Games record 452.9 points in a dominant display that belied the breezy conditions.
He adds the gold medal to the bronze he won in the 10m rifle event on Thursday.
