DIVISION 1 leaders Headington were one of four teams to rack up centuries in a high-scoring week in the Oxford & District League, sponsored by Yarnton Nurseries.
Headington’s 102-68 home success had an impact at both ends of the table, taking them closer to the title and all but relegating opponents South Oxford.
With Shiplake’s match against Oxford City & County A postponed until next week, the only other top flight fixture saw Carterton claim a 5-1 win at Witney Mills.
Their 108-52 victory was set up by Paul Sharman’s rink, who won 41-6.
West Witney extended their lead in Division 2 after seeing off hosts Banbury Chestnuts, who began the game in second place, 81-64.
Watlington are now in second following a whitewash at Chipping Norton.
The 95-69 result virtually guarantees the home side will drop down next season.
Charlbury kept their survival hopes alive with a 5-1 win at home to Bicester.
Adderbury all but secured their promotion from Division 3 as they ran up three figures in a 104-64 victory at home to Headington B.
At the other end of the table, Banbury Central B look to be heading down after picking up just one point at home to Kidlington, who triumphed 80-62.
The Oxford won twice to keep their title ambitions intact.
In the week’s closest contest, they had Paul Illott’s four to thank for a 4-2 success at Blackbird Leys.
His rink’s 20-shot winning margin was just enough to secure an overall victory of two shots.
The Oxford went on to beat Witney Town 91-70 in a rearranged fixture.
Bloxham were the last of the week’s centurions, as skips Ron Higgins and Ray Hopkins came out on top by large margins to set up a 101-61½ home win over Oxford University Press in Division 4.
Only shot difference is keeping Chadlington out of the top two following a 4-2 success at South Oxford B.
They closed the gap because Woodstock lost by the same margin at Hanborough.
Peter Booth’s 15-shot winning margin gave rock bottom Florence Park only their second triumph of the campaign, beating West Oxford 77¼-68.
