Ollie Smith hopes his “quote of the week” feature will add to London Welsh’s motivation as they target promotion to the Aviva Premiership.

The Exiles’ assistant coach wants them to be as focused for today’s trip to basement boys Ealing as they will be when they visit title rivals Bristol on April 18.

“I like to do a little quote of the week to keep everyone on their toes,” said Smith.

“This week I used one from the Seattle Seahawks quarter-back Russell Wilson.

“He said Seattle had the mentality of having a championship day every day.

“Every day had to be the most important for them and they won the Super Bowl.

“That’s the approach we are going for throughout our season.

“That focus is driving all of us on.”
