ATHLETICS: Silver for Noel
NOEL Blatchford won silver in the Women’s V65 5km track walk in the World Masters Championships at Porto Alegre in Brazil.
The Abingdon AC member recorded a time of 30mins 56.17secs to take second place.
Blatchford was just over a minute behind South Africa’s Elsa Meyer, but almost two minutes ahead of New Zealand’s Jacqui Wilson.
