Wins from Michael Kearns, Ian Moss and Aaran Stevens were not enough as Joe Palmer, Anthony Barrett, Mark Burns and Neil Russell saw Kidlington through.

Cowley Workers Club were too strong for Berinsfield Community Centre, cruising to a 6-1 away victory.

Corner House B saw off Cricketers A 6-1 after wins from James Harding, Mick Kennett, Mick O’Leary, Trevor Ballard, Keith Abrey and Richard Reveley.

Goodlake Arms A came away from Chequers with a comfortable 5-2 success courtesy of wins from Preben Krabben, Kevin Wilkins, Chris Hughes, Kevin Barefoot and Reg Bowers Section 3 champions Vikings saw off Gladiators, from Section 7, 5-2.

Ladies Premier outfit Gillan’s Bar booked their place in the ladies seven-a-side semi-finals after a narrow victory at Section 1’s Donnington A.

Angie Turner and Shaz Thompson gave Gillans a 2-0 lead, the home side hitting back via Emily Baldwin and Rose Swanton.

Lorraine Singleton made it 3-2 to the visitors, but Donna Baldwin squared it up again for Donnington.

In a tense last game, Jayne Godfrey just got the better of Denise Broom to see Gillans through 4-3.

Premier league champions Rileys stayed on course for a league and cup double after a winning 6-1 at George Bar A.

Florence Park CC A and New Inn, Witney, also made it through to the last four.
