Oxfordshire 2nd got their Division 4 East campaign off to a flying start in the England County Championship.
A thumping 12-3 victory over Worcestershire 3rd at Bar-tholomew Sports Centre, Eysnham, saw Oxon set the standard at the top of the table.
Matthew Harris, Jack Smith and Kathryn Schutterlin all won their singles to put Oxon 3-1 ahead.
Martin Graham, paired with Smith, won both men’s doubles rubbers and, with Harris and Michael Senior also victorious twice, the hosts were soon in charge.

They ensured an emphatic victory when Graham and Patrick, as well as Smith and Wing, claimed three-set mixed victories.
Despite defeat for Senior and Lawson, Oxon ran out emphatic victors to set themselves up for the trip to take on Norfolk this weekend.
