VALE of White Horse bowed out of the ESFA Under 15 PlayStation Inter Association Trophy with a 2-1 defeat by a talented Brent side in the second round at Milton United.

Brent, who included many lads on the books of Premier League clubs, took the lead midway through the first half when Antwayne Plummer fired home from the edge of the box.

Vale fell further behind ten minutes later as Luke Galvin rounded off a mazy dribble.

The hosts kept battling in the second half, and were rewarded when Charlie Rowland headed home a George Goodenough cross at the far post, but it wasn’t enough.
