Oxfordshire's Hannah England and Lawrence Clarke have retained their National Lottery funding.
Oxford City 1,500m runner England and sprint hurdler Clarke, from Christmas Common, are among 22 athetes on the World Class Performance Programme (WCPP) for 2013-14.
They are named in the WCPP’s ‘podium’ section for athletes with the potential to win medals at the Rio Olympics in 2016.
Former world champion Phillips Idowu plus Andy Turner, Jenny Meadows and Lisa Dobriskey are among those to lose lottery funding.
