BB&O PREMIER DIVISION
GOSFORD All Blacks were edged out 14-13 in their top-of-the-table clash with leaders Tadley.
Some great defence repelled Tadley before Tim Ellis’s penalty gave Gosford the lead.
Tadley hit back, with centre Kyle Brewer going over and Craig Raymond converting.
Fly half Harry Sutton and hooker Liam Donnelly were held up before tight-head prop Tony Baughan charged over for Gosford.
Wing Ben Bodinham sprinted in for try No 2 before half-time.
Tadley turned up the pressure in the final quarter, with replacement prop Sam Pincott forcing his way over for Raymond to convert and seal the spoils.
Struggling Bicester slipped to second-from-bottom after a 22-14 home defeat to Phoenix.
Scrum half Thomas Bell went over for Phoenix’s opening try.
They added two more either side of half-time, while Bicester scrum half Mike Harris was in the sin bin.
Centres David McMillan and Chris Varey went over, fly half Kieran Roche converting one.
Varey completed Phoenix’s try tally, but they had flanker David Harris sin-binned.
Bicester’s Harris and flanker Niall Morrow scored tries, with fly half Steve Risbridger converting both, but it was too little too late.
Chipping Norton pipped visitors Littlemore 17-16.
