Some super young talent emerged at City of Oxford’s latest development gala.
The club stages a series of these galas throughout the year to encourage and develop new, young swimmers and allow children, aged from eight to 12 to experience competitive swimming in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
Many of City’s top national swimmers started swimming in these meets.
Those to shine this month were nine-year-olds Ralph Cooke and Megan Smit, while eight-year-old Gretel Goodgame and Cathryn Peake, ten, also showed potential in their respective events.
