London Welsh have appointed Gordon Ross as assistant/backs coach.
Stand-off Ross, who will continue to be registered as a player, will form part of a new coaching set up alongside newly appointed head coach Justin Burnell.
The 35-year-old was a key player in the club’s Aviva Premiership campaign, playing 18 matches and scoring 173 points.
He won the first of his 25 caps for Scotland in 2001 against Tonga, scoring a record debut 23 points.
Ross said: “I’ve worked under some very good coaches over the years and hopefully I can use some of things I’ve picked up from them with the London Welsh squad next season.
“It was disappointing last year to get relegated, but this is a new challenge. There are a lot of new faces at the club, but I’m looking forward to working closely with Justin.”
