Husband and wife David and Jess Bruce completed a victory double at the rain-soaked Cottiswood 5K.
Oxford City’s David Bruce was first on the new course, clocking 15mins 46secs.
He saw off Woodstock Harriers’ James Bolton, who was also top vet 40 in 16.13.
Headington Road Runners’ Jess Bruce was first lady in 18.49, one second ahead of Alchester’s Michelle Pank.
Pank’s Alchester clubmate, Sam Usher, was third and first vet 35 lady in 19.35.
The event, which replaced the Charndon 5K, saw Woodstock take the men’s team prize and hosts Alchester win the ladies’ title.
