GOALS from Jon-Paul Pittman and James Roberts in extra time saw Oxford United beat Oxford City 4-2 to lift the Oxfordshire Senior Cup.
City were the better side in the first half and Jamie Cook's penalty put them ahead at the break.
Goals from Josh Ashby and Tyrone Marsh put the U's ahead, but Felipe Barcelos quickly equalised.
Neither side could find a winner before the end of 90 minutes, sending the game into extra time.
As legs tired Pittman, who is out of contract this summer, restored the lead and Roberts struck in the final minute to wrap up the victory.
United's side was a mixture of young players and experienced first-teamers, with James Constable and Pittman starting as their front two.
City's line-up was far more familiar with each other and they were the more coherent side in the first half.
Cook, one of five ex-United players in the visitors' squad, saw a free-kick beat goalkeeper Max Crocombe but clip the crossbar on ten minutes.
He was denied by the woodwork again midway through the half.
Scott Davies put Sam Long in trouble and the ball fell to the striker, whose low shot cannoned back off Crocombe's left-hand post.
City made the breakthrough on 25 minutes and again it was Cook who caused problems, bursting through United's defence before being brought down by the onrushing goalkeeper.
Crocombe escaped without a card, but he could do nothing about Cook's spot kick, which found the corner of the net.
United looked out of sorts, but gradually showed signs of life late in the half.
Pittman saw a stinging drive parried by City goalkeeper Nick Townsend, while a Marsh cross was almost put through his own net by Adam Learoyd.
The hosts levelled three minutes into the second half.
A purposeful move ended with Callum O'Dowda finding Ashby, whose low shot beat Townsend at his near post from 20 yards.
Superb control from O'Dowda quickly laid on a chance for Constable, but the striker slashed wildly at the chance and the ball spun wide.
United did go ahead on 65 minutes when Marsh smashed a left-footed shot into the net from 25 yards.
The lead lasted just three minutes, though, as Barcelos got the better of Sam Long before prodding a shot past Crocombe.
The striker almost grabbed a second with 15 minutes remaining as he seized on a defensive mix-up, but his shot rolled wide.
Crocombe then saved from Steve Basham, Barcelos and Nick Stanley as City enjoyed a strong spell, but United had the final chance in 90 minutes.
Ashby threaded a ball through to Pittman, who shot wide.
The strike made amends six minutes into extra time, outpacing Chris Willmott to slot past Townsend.
City looked tired as their fixture-packed April caught up with them, but it took a wonderful save from Crocombe to keep out a Basham volley just after the interval.
The threat of a penalty shoot-out remained until Roberts settled it with virtually the last kick of the game, latching on to a Davies long ball and the youth team striker buried a finish past Townsend.
