OXFORD MAIL GIRLS LEAGUE
OXFORD City moved to within one point of the Under 14 League title with a 4-0 victory at Summertown Stars.
Miriam Pritchard grabbed a double, with Shelley Knight and an own goal completing their tally.
Isla Nugent’s brace helped Didcot Casuals defeat Swindon Spitfires 4-1.
Becci Bostock and Becca Cox were also on target, while Kat Reynolds replied.
Maisie Berry equalised twice as Bardwell drew 2-2 at Highworth Town.
Taneya Vince and Charlotte Weisinger had put Highworth 1-0 and 2-1 ahead.
But Highworth won the second match of their double-header 4-2, with Chloe Scanlon (2), Vince and Mia Mugford on target.
Berry and Charlotte May netted for Bardwell.
Under 16
Tower Hill Vixens’ sportsmanship went unrewarded as they lost 3-0 at Moretonville Juniors.
With Moretonville, whose scorers were Ellie Copping (2) and Katie Lee, only able to field ten players due to injury, Tower agreed not to put out a full 11.
Under 13
Kidlington maintained their title pursuit with Abigail Haynes and Amberley Vircavs on fire in a 12-0 defeat of Wantage.
Haynes (4) and Vircavs (3) led the way, with Eleanor Whitfeld (2), Lucy Durham, Harriet Thomas and Esme Murphy also getting on the scoresheet.
Bloxham had 5-0 and 7-1 victories in a double-header at Wantage.
Jade Ryman (2), Natalie Sanson, Jemma Welling and Emily Parker netted in the first match.
Welling grabbed a hat-trick in match two, with Parker and Ryman bagging braces. Ella Joyce replied for Wantage.
Under 12
Didcot Casuals stayed top of the table after winning 4-0 at home to Tower Hill Vixens.
Bethany Hastings, Holly Porter, Maili Nugent and Megan Osborne were on target for unbeaten Casuals.
Kidlington lost 4-0 at home to title-chasing Brackley Town, whose scorers were Evie Hawkins (3) and Fay Marshall-Hopkins.
Under 11
Danielle Glover’s equaliser earned Kidlington a 1-1 draw at home to Crowmarsh, who went one point clear at the top.
Olivia O’Byrne had put Crowmarsh ahead.
