OXFORD United have called a press conference this morning to address the managerial position at the club.
In a change from the routine media interviews held weekly, it will be held at the Kassam Stadium at 11am.
It appears to be a chance for chairman Ian Lenagan to clear up the uncertainty surrounding the playing side of the club.
Speculation has been mounting for weeks over manager Chris Wilder’s position and the 45-year-old, who has been in charge since December 2008, was unable to clarify his future when asked last weekend.
A 3-0 win against Rochdale was not enough to prevent United missing out on the npower League Two play-offs with a game still remaining.
Other matters which may be addressed concern the players, with the majority of the first-team squad out of contract this summer, with no deals announced so far.
