JANE Murphy captured the Oxfordshire Women’s Indoor Bowling Association singles title at Oxford City & County.
She beat City & County clubmate Barbara Pearce 21-14 in the final.
Murphy and Jackie Gray were beaten 23-14 by Shirley Crick and Eileen O’Shea in the pairs final.
With City & County providing the finalists in all four disciplines, Jeanette Berry, Rosemary Phelps and Margaret Stacey defeated Crick, Ros Burden and Vickey Harrison in the triples.
Berry, Murphy, Jan Lovegrove and Stacey took the fours with a 21-14 victory over Crick, June Watts, O’Shea and Harrison.
