Vale of White Horse lifted the Oxfordshire Under 15 Cup with a 4-0 win over Mid Oxon in the final at Milton United.

The hosts took the lead after ten minutes when Mid Oxon failed to clear Jack Powell’s corner, and Seth Humphries drove the loose ball home.

David Willcox doubled Vale’s advantage with a glancing header from a Humphries corner.

With Mid Oxon unable to handle Vale’s aerial power, Jack Powell’s flag-kick was forced home by Harrison Crick to give Vale a 3-0 interval lead.

Vale sealed victory ten minutes from time when Humphries netted his second from close range, with Benji Anderson making sure the ball crossed the line.

JAMES Spruyt grabbed a late winner as Vale of White Horse Under 13s triumphed 4-3 at Luton in the Oxford United Cup semi-final.

Vale were 2-0 down inside ten minutes, but Chris Gould pulled one back just before half-time.

Spruyt equalised early in the second half, before Tom Morris fired home from 15 yards to put Vale ahead.

Luton levelled in controversial fashion.

A Luton striker looked well offside, but Harry Mountford chased the forward and put in a despairing tackle, which deflected the ball into his own net.

However, Spruyt had the last word for Vale two minutes from time to set up a final against either Cheltenham, North Dorset or Southampton.
