MARK Corbett scored an extra-time winner as Chipping Norton Town fought back to win the OFA John Fathers Junior Shield final against West Witney, writes ANTHONY BARLOW.
Carl Austin put West Witney ahead from the penalty spot midway through the first half at Kidlington.
But their fellow Witney & District FA Premier Division opponents hit back to grab an equaliser through a Warwick Thompkins thunderbolt just before the interval.
Nothing could separate the sides in the second half, so with the scores level after 90 minutes, the game went into extra time.
The decisive moment came before the break, when Corbett scrambled home the winner to claim the trophy.
