FRILFORD Heath golfer Eddie Pepperell picked up £27,641 after finishing joint eighth in the Spanish Open in Valencia.
The 22-year-old shot a final round 72 to end on three-under par for his first top-ten finish in his maiden season on the European tour.
He was two shots adrift of Raphael Jacquelin, who won the title with a birdie on the ninth play-off hole, beating Max Kieffer after Felipe Aguilar exited at the third.
