LONDON Welsh were remaining tight-lipped last night over the position of John Taylor.

The former British Lions player is no longer a director of the Oxford-based club according to the Companies House records.

But Welsh would not say if he remained as vice-chairman.

Taylor had been managing director at the beginning of the season, but took on the vice-chairman role when Tony Copsey joined as chief executive in January.

Copsey quit last week after Welsh were relegated from the Aviva Premiership.
