Tim Whitewood took top spot in Beehive AC’s FA Cup first-round match at a windswept Panshill.
The weather meant pole fishing was very difficult for the 17 anglers, but that did not deter Whitewood, who found a quiet area to catch 37.12.0 of carp on pole and maggot to record his first victory for the club.
Dave Simmons had 29.8.0 of carp to pole and maggot for second, followed by Bob Alder with 25.0.0 of carp on the same tactics.
