NORTH Oxford hammered Maidenhead 2nd 12-0 in their Aegon Team Tennis tournament opener.
Led by No 1 player, 14-year-old Alexis Canter, who was warming up for an ITF junior event in Nottingham, North did not drop a set.
Canter beat Geoff Eaby 6-3, 6-3, wcaptain Jack Rooney crushed Tim Paton 6-1, 6-0, Pierre Dumas despatched Lewis Brown 6-1, 6-3 and Tom Bowden overcame Steve Woolland 6-3, 6-0.
The doubles saw Canter and Dumas beat Eaby and Brown 6-3, 6-1, while Rooney and Bowden eased past Woolland and Paton 6-0, 6-3.
