Didcot Casuals and Long Wittenham Athletic will meet in the North Berks Cup final next month following 1-0 victories in their semi-finals, writes PHIL ANNETS.

A strike from Dan Cox Rodgers saw Casuals win at Faringdon Town to reach the final for the first time.

AndCallum Bowler’s goal was enough for Long Wittenham to edge past visitors Berinsfield.

The pair will meet at Abingdon United’s Northcourt Road on Saturday, May 4.

Saxton Rovers kept up their charge for the North Berks League Division 1 title with a 1-0 win at Kintbury Rangers.

Martin Young’s effort proved decisive.

There were six different scorers as third-placed Wootton & Dry Sandford thrashed Sutton Courtenay 6-1 at home.

Adam Brookes, Josh Nicholls, Tom Srawley, Tom Cooke, Luke Ingram and Chris Potter all found the net, while Lee Flashman replied for the visitors.

Ben Sutton’s penalty saw Harwell International win 1-0 at home to bottom side East Hendred.

AFC Wallingford drew 1-1 at Childrey United, with Ashley Searle on target for the visitors. Mike Cannings replied.

A Jonny James double helped Division 2 leaders Ardington & Lockinge to a 4-2 win at Drayton.

Tom Bennett and Chris Hunt also netted, with brothers Ryan and Ashley Seamark responding for Drayton.

Dan Bradbury and Jamie Hopgood bagged two each in a 5-2 win for third-placed Coleshill United at Saxton Rovers Res.

Richard Evans completed the scoring for Coleshill, while Dave Carter and Jamie Gaff netted for the hosts.

Dorchester stayed in the title hunt with a 3-0 home win over Lambourn Sports Res.

Billy Warner, Josh Axtell and Joe Dixon all scored.

Jamie Gregory’s double earned Stanford in the Vale a 2-2 draw at home to Division 3 leaders Childrey United Res, for whom Tom Weeks and Vaughan Just scored.

A second-half double from Jarrad Webster saw Ardington & Lockinge Res reach the North Berks Cup final with a 2-1 win over Benson Lions Res, who had led through Liam Wilkinson.
