OXFORD MAIL GIRLS LEAGUE
OXFORD City kept up the pressure on Under 11 League leaders Crowmarsh with a 4-1 home victory over Tower Hill Vixens.
Amanda Osarabo-Nacy netted the first of a hat-trick to put City ahead, but Jade Wright equalised from a corner.
Osarabo-Nacy completed her treble before half-time, using her pace to good effect, while Molly Taylor impressed in the City goal.
Holly Hunter grabbed City’s fourth near the end of an evenly contested second half.
Under 14
A goal from Rachel Everett proved in vain as Stonesfield Strikers lost 5-1 at Swindon Spitfires.
Meghan Larkin (3), Amy Connaghan and Chiarna Deller were on target for Swindon.
Under 13
Emily Parker’s brace helped Bloxham win 3-2 at Swindon Spitfires on Saturday.
Katie Mclean also netted for Bloxham, with Mia Sangara and Brooke Stead replying.
It got no better for Spitfires the following day, when they lost 3-0 at leaders Benson United.
Emily Bailey, Annie Jaquest and Hollie Smith scored for Benson.
Under 12
Kidlington had a day to forget, losing 14-0 at Brackley Town, whose scorers were Zara Dodd (5), Fay Marshall-Hopkins (5), Ema Marshall (2), Eve Hawkins and Lily Hamp.
